Tried hiking this a few years ago before it was AllTrails. As in the previous review it's very overgrown and it bushwacking in it's finest or worst depending on you view of bushwhacking.

Once you hit the southern fork the trail becomes overgrown and the canopy is low. I'd recommend pants and a hat. There are sections of wild raspberries that entirely cover the trail but can be pushed through and the trail is still visible if you separate the plants with your hands a bit. Also a few sections of rock falls to navigate. I felt the trail was navigable with some effort until shortly after the ruins. I'd recommend the ruins as a good end point.
