There’s a handful or paths that wind around getting down to the riverbed. All of them eventually end up in the same place and lead towards the arch. Trail was easy enough while carrying a toddler in my arms, although I wouldn’t recommend taking the road to get there if it was muddy or rained.

Not spectacular, but something to do for a “rest” day. Combine with Cedar Wash Arch, Devil’s Garden and Dinosaur Tracks for a full day of easy hikes.

The drive out there is on a dirt road. Download the map before you go. No signs except a little turn out and a post sticking out of the ground. super easy walk down a small hill. to the left is the arch. Beyond that is a little cave. While inside the cave a piece of the roof fell so we didn't stay long. The arch was fun to walk on and under.

Trail was short, but keep in mind that you have to climb back up! There are 2 mini falls and a pond above the falls. There isn't a real great view of the falls because you're at the top. I saw a trail way down at the bottom, but I didn't want to go all the way down there. The canyon was beautiful with many cottonwoods in fall colors. Definitely worth doing. By the way, the guide books say that the pullout is between mile markers 81 and 82, but it's really between 80 and 81. In fact, it's right before mile marker 81. No sign on the road, but a trailhead sign in the parking area.

Very short hike that leads to the covered wagon bridge. Very aptly named! Then you can walk a little further into the cave, we saw cat tracks in the bobcat I believe. Fly's were pretty intense on this hike.

Perfect for a “rest day” between proper hikes. Park up and walk about 200 yards down and bear left to the natural arch and cave. Super easy and worth a stop if you’re along this dirt road.

A short hike to a great little arch in a wash. Hike up the wash 100 yards to find the tunnel/subway fed by a dry waterfall. The wash is prone to flash flooding so watch the weather.

Short steep trail (not bad), which goes to covered wagon bridge. It's not spectacular and you can walk under and on top of it. What's was cool was: Keep walking around the trail from the bridge, say 50 to 75 yds (on level ground) and there is a very cool subway carved alcove that's perhaps 100" around (it's a half circle that makes it seem like a large cave--it's not dark or anything). Kids would love it. No one for miles around when we went there.
