Getting There

Zion National Park charges a fee to enter. Fees are $35 per vehicle or $30 per motorcycle. If you are entering on foot, horse, or bike the fee is $20 per person. You can also purchase a park specific annual pass for $70. A short stroll on a paved path up to the viewpoint where you have a magnificent view of the three Patriarch Peaks. This trail is not tagged as wheelchair or stroller friendly because it is steep. The trail surface is paved, smooth, and typically at least four feet wide. The average grade is 8% and the max grade is 12%. Manual wheelchair and stroller users would likely need assistance because it is so steep.

HikingGreat!

Very short path to a platform & info stand. It allows one to get above the park road & get great pics of the Patriarchs - Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Inspiring!!

View is good, but the shuttle doesn't stop there anymore. Had to hike down from zion lodge (2.5 miles round-trip)

short little hike up to the viewpoint. from there you have a magnificent view of the 3 patriarch peaks plus 1. Due to no shuttle service at this time, we went up after 6 pm when the rangers stopped closing the road for the day. very limited access from 6 am to 6 pm due to limited parking.

Pretty cool views of river and canyon. A lot of trails along river to get different views. Access to the river at points where I got in ankle deep with my camera. Plus. If anyone’s reading this I left a dry box that I found at alstrom point in page, AZ. It’s in rocks by river. Good Luck

Neat little hidden gem! I’ve hiked Zion for years now and never have done this hike. But this is great! If you take the sandy trail there’s a trail that beers off back to the canyon walls. You have to go around/under the horse fence. It’s a great little hike that takes you to a waterfall and river.

While you can barely call this a hike it is definitely worth the shuttle stop. We had the view point to ourselves for the better part of an hour!

Great view right off of the bus stop. Only like 140 feet away from the road. Might as well do it if you’re in the park!

Hiking

Very short paved trail. Literally takes 2 minutes to get to the end. It’s worth the stop in my opinion. Gives a nice view of the peaks from a vantage point a bit higher than the road. Pretty good deal for so little effort and time.

Not quite what I had expected, but still beautiful. It was really really short, but brings you to a nice overlook of the court of the patriarchs. I would recommend this viewpoint to someone looking for an easy walk to a viewpoint.

Not much of a hike or even a walk for that matter, but definitely worth stopping by. The view is pretty and it only takes a minute or two to get there from the bus stop. In terms of value to effort ratio, this one is pretty high.
