Beautiful views and scenery at the top. Lots of areas to explore. Bring water even on this short hike as there is no shade and it was really hot!

A little rocky compared to other trails I’ve done but totally recommend this trail for the breathtaking views.

Very nice little hike with lovely views! It definitely gets muddy in the spring, but there is a mix of rocks and dirt, so some parts stay dry. Watch out for bison!!

A little buggy but spray kept them away. The parking lot was crowded on a Sunday, but the trail wasn't too busy. Short and easy on the way up, with great views the whole way.

I've done this hike several times and it's amazing but I went yesterday and me and my guests were attacked by gnats that bite. They were in our hair, ears, and clothing. Somebody on their way down warned us and we thought, 'how bad can gnats be?" There were swarms of them up there. Don't do the trail this time of year.

Not a bad little hike. Didn't take too long to do and offered great views of the area. It's worth doing.

The view is always amazing! This one is a little climb but nothing too extreme and it’s short. Today was really buggy though (May 30th).

Went on May 15th. I had planned on hiking Frary Peak, but was informed by the Ranger that the no-see-ums and mosquitos are somewhat unbearable. So opted to drive around and look for a nice spot to watch the sunset and it just so happen that this was the spot! Saw a bison right next to the water and a couple of pronghorns. Heads up: no-see-ums and mosquitos are no joke. If it's windy, you're in luck. Otherwise, I'd opt for a face net and mosquito repellent. Happy exploring! <3

Fun short hike. Dog friendly kids loved climbing on the rocks at the top. Even found a small cove to climb into. Beautiful view of the lake and city.

Wow! WOW! Gorgeous trail with breathtaking views. We had loads of kids with us (16,15,14,12,11,10,9,8), and they loved scrambling up and climbing on the rocks. We spotted several places to see bison up-close from that vantage point. Got some incredible pics. I bet on a less stormy day, the sunset pics would be EPIC! March is a great time of year to visit since the bugs aren’t out yet.
