Birthday Arch is located in Kane County, Utah just west of the town of Big Water. The arch is located high up on the cliffs along the western side of Bucktank Draw. On the opposite side of the canyon there is a short narrow slot canyon that is also fun to explore while in the area. The little slot canyon is only about a 100 feet long but getting to it doesn't add much more in the way of difficulty to the hike.
