Broadhead Lake Area Trail is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kamas, Utah that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

From Kamas, take the Mirror Lake Highway about 22 miles to the Murdock Basin Road, The shortest route begins from the Mirror Lake Highway, about 2 miles up Murdock Basin Road. Look for an ATV road that turns right by a group of campsites. This ATV road has been named Buckeye Road. Follow it 0.5 miles to Greenhorn Road. Form here, take Greenhorn Road almost to it end

When I started out on this hike I had in my head that I was going all the way to Broadhead Lake. The trail in on a double-track road and the default track just ends before the road ends. Didn't make it to the Lake which would appear to be off-trail. There is a lot of run-off from snow-melt still
