The mountain portion of the trail was very nice. Road/river trail section was partially closed, had to walk on the main road for a portion of the return (went counter-clockwise. Skipped the Bridger Lookoff section due to time, but it looked like a nice valley. The initial climb up Spring Hollow (before the turnoff) is quite steep.

I really enjoyed the scenery on this hike but I must say the the All Trails map is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. After reading another review that mentioned the map being horribly incorrect I decided to try for myself. That review was not wrong, the map line doesn’t follow the Trail well at all and when you get about 2 miles into it it is completely unusable. Great trail though!

Tried to hike it late in the day, but couldn't manage it. Beautiful scenery. The trail is pretty much unmarked, at least if you're hiking it clockwise. The trail map shown here didn't match up well with the actual trail. GPS wouldn't work inside the steeper canyons, so I ended up turning back rather than get lost with nightfall approaching. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

This loop provides a big bang for your buck. Stunning views, great climbs, and some solitude from the more heavily traveled trails in the area. Spring and Fall are the best times to be up there.
