The Utah County Council intends to sell Bridal Veil Falls and surrounding land to a real-estate developer. If you like this hike, contact the county council and ask them not to sell it.

Hiking

the start of the trail is a gentle walk but the last 500 feet is steep and involved scrabbling over rocks

Simple and short walking path to base of falls then a fun steeper climb up to the waterfall itself.

A walk NOT a hike. The trail is extremely nice and easy paved walkway. Definitely worth the climb up TO THE FALLS. A couple of points are very narrow

Easy walk to the start of the waterfall trails, then straight up scraggy trails. Worth every step.

Great walk and then small hike off the trail to upper falls. Turn off to upper falls is at the graffitied water shed.

upper falls was beautiful and there was only 2 other people up there. nearly everyone stops at lower falls. we ended up continuing on to the top of upper falls. there's ropes and stuff to help as that turns into a rock climb but getting to upper falls is just as easy as getting to lower falls. just a longer distance

Very crowded and a lot of inconsiderate bikers. The falls were beautiful, very shaded. Wouldn't call it a hike, but it was a nice walk!

Nice waterfall, easy to medium hike that even younger kids can do with breaks. Not very long and going up is way harder than going down so you can rest easy once you make it to the top.

It was good! Went with a large group and it was beautiful and easy enough! Two falls in one day!

My husband and I have done the lower bridal veil falls several times; we’ve just stayed on the path and looked at the falls from below and even tried to hike up to them, which was much harder and sketchy. But we had never hiked to the upper falls until today! So from the parking lot at the lower falls you can take the side road to the next parking lot or take the next exit off the highway. Once you park, cross the bridge, walk up to the path, take a right, and on your left there will be a cement building with graffiti and a small path behind it. That’s the path to the upper falls! We took the most direct path up and it took us 15-20 minutes to get to the base of the fall. It felt so good! We then tried to adventure up and around to get to the top but realized we’d have to basically rock climb at one point and stopped and turned around. Super quick, easy and fun!! Not nearly as busy as the lower falls

Every review saying this is an easy hike is wrong, or at least haven’t hiked up to the top. The hike starts to the right of the lower waterfall and you make your way up a very steep path with loose rocks and not much to hold onto. The most difficult part is climbing from the 1st to the 2nd waterfall. There are paths that don’t lead anywhere and it can be confusing. Bring plenty of water and stay safe around the cliffs. 100% worth it tho, the upper waterfall is secluded and beautiful

Beautiful waterfall but very steep for little ones. I had a carrier that I put my 2 year old in but other then that my other 3 boys loved it. Ages 10, 7 and 5. Totally worth it!

I’m gonna be honest, I feel like this trail is totally overrated. It’s not even a trail in my book but a paved path. It is always super packed with bikers, runners, and walkers. I wouldn’t consider this a hike. The falls are pretty but you can see them from the road without even getting out of your car.
