Wonder views. You are almost in the clouds. It takes longer to drive the 3 miles up the gravel road than to walk the summit. Bet it is beautiful in the spring with alpine flowers.

We did not hike but caught a beautiful sunrise. We drove to the top.

Drive up to the trail was a pretty well maintained dirt road. The trail itself was super short but had a super cool looking old building. The view was an amazing 360 degrees.

Road is open to the top now. Amazing 360 degree views. Worth the trip.

The 0.2 mile trail referenced is from the summit parking area over to an observation hut and back. However the road is currently closed about a mile down from the summit. So we parked there and walked up the road to the summit, which made this more like a hike... Approx. 2 miles round trip with 350-400' elevation gain. Views from the summit are fantastic. A different perspective of Cedar Breaks National Monument and the surrounding area. Very enjoyable... Summit is at 11,307' elevation.

Hiked up from where the access road meets hwy 143. Most of the road still covered in snow. Just kinda traversed up the mountain. Found a small trail near the top. Beautiful 360 view at the top.

Ditched the truck 1.2 miles down the access road (before the bathroom and parking lot) due to heavy snowfall. Ended up following the road up to the peak. It was a gentle, steady incline up. Not sure I would have called this 0.2 trail much of a hike without the added portion we did. Beautiful views of the area, particularly of the Brian Head ski resort.

This is perfect for folks (and dogs) of all skill levels. I parked about a mile away from the peak so we could get a total of two miles of walking, but if you want to drive right on up to the area, you can do that too. It was beautiful to watch the morning unfold in solitude....well, with the exception of the fat little prairie dogs chattering away at each other and me. What a treat!

Beautiful viewpoint. You can drive right up to the top. Did it in my Prius with careful driving. There is a lower parking lot as well with and out house that we like to start from and walk the road to the top to get a little more exercise since the "trail" at the top is just a little path to the old station and only about 50 yards long.

Top of the world views. Seldom can you peak with so little effort. Had to do it quick, a Missouri boy was feeling the altitude.

The view is amazing but the road is too bad. There are lots of big rocks on the road makes it so hard to drive on.
