Dogs do not have to be on leash on odd days

The trail was a bit muddy in places but still very hikable in late October. Note that the total distance is about 4 miles from the closed gate (out and back) with an elevation gain of about 1,500 ft. Also, this distance does not go to White Fir Pass. Judging from the map attached with this trail, it goes to the first outlook, which is about half the distance to White Fir Pass. This is also a beautiful winter hike if you wear snow cleats.

This was a beautiful hike. Once we found it. Unfortunately when you map this hike through “ALL TRAILS” it has you arrive up Millcreek canyon into a parking area. This hike is off the Terraces road (across the street from the parking area). We walked up the road (up hill all way) to the trailhead. Once to the top the trail is on your left. Follow the trail signs for Bowman Fork Trail. The trail is a slow incline with some flat areas. Once you reach the upper level there are some steeper switchbacks. Over all thoroughly enjoyable.
