The Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BSLT) is a hiking and bicycle path running across the foothills of the Wasatch Range along a route that follows the eastern shoreline of ancient Lake Bonneville. The trail runs along the 5200 feet level usually just above the homes and farms of these three small communities The BSLT is perfect for an evening hike or a early morning walk or bike ride. Few people walk the trail from end to end most prefer a mile or two out and back. While on the trail you will enjoy deer and birds and the peaceful sounds of the many creeks that cross the trail The views are beautiful with the Great Salt lake and Antelope Island to the West, the sunsets are incredible.

The map is way off for the actual BST you ride through Parrish Canyon which is probably the only highlight of riding. Very nice singletrack to ride, but the trail can be dull at times. There is a section where I have to walk my bike, it is very sandy and steep.

From the Bountiful side there is no real trailhead. You have to walk up through an empty lot through sticker bushes and loose gravel.
the trail is in horrible shape and very loose. Don't bother with this's virtually unrideable.

As someone trying to do easier local hikes to get into shape, this is a little more than I had expected. Not super steep by any means, but very different from the other 'easy' rated trails. Does have a nice view on multiple spots.

Can't find the trail entrance by following the given directions. Can anyone give information on this?

If you are looking for a actual hiking trail that is challenging this isn't for ya. It's not hard, and it doesn't get you into anything super cool. Good for a walk or run.

Nice walk

It's great for cooler days. There isn't much shade so it's definitely one I wouldn't do in the heat of the day. Great for kids and dogs.

It was a lot longer than we thought. The trail is point to point, not there and back. It's pretty open for a while so be sure to wear hat and sunscreen. Also lots of water!

This trial was beautiful we started at 10am and I had 5 months old baby at the baby, it's not busy and it's pretty quite I will do it again.

Found a really cool mountain biking trail some make a while ago coming down the canyon just north of the metal towers up on top above ensign peak. They built lots of jumps over pits and cool burns.

2 stars for hiking (which isn't really hiking to me)....4 for trail running for a longer distance. It beats running Legacy hands down! 3 stars overall. I only use it to run and to access a few trailheads

Boring & a crazy lady had her even crazier herder dog off leash who tried to herd up my terrified & screaming toddlers.

Great views of the valley. But other than that kind of boring. Good trail for moderate mountain biking or for a trail run after work. Nothing to strenuous at all.
