I enjoy this hike at night or in the evening. During the day it is bland but at night you can see all the lights from the city and is easy and enjoyable.

there are a lot of mixed reviews because the Bonneville shoreline trail is 100 miles long and different parts are better than others, the part we were on was along a deer fence. there were tons of deer carcasses all along the fence. the views are pretty but the fence really takes away a lot from the beauty

Walked the trail in the evening starting at Green Canyon. It took me around 90 minutes to do a round trip at a walking pace. Evening or morning is a good idea if you are not used to sun and elevation. Take water, light, radio (ham or FMRS) and jacket when hiking in Utah mountains. Nice views of Cache Valley.

This trail was not very fun. It was hot and the views are horrible. You are by a fence the whole time with the sun blasting on you.

I tried to like this trail but you're just stuck behind a deer fence. I used to live in Logan and gave it a few tries. It feels like you're ether in a zoo or in some large prison camp or something!

The trail follows a deer fence.... is mixed single track, double track and is overgrown in many places. The trail and fence attempt to follow the lake Bonneville shoreline, in a due north south line so the trail goes up and down. Trail is exposed to the sun with little shade, nice view of Cache Valley to the west.

More interesting than the northern section near Green Canyon. It makes for a 23 mile ride if starting at the Dry Canyon trail head and riding all the way up Blackmith Fork River Trail and back. There is one particularly nasty climb when going from south to north that is somewhat steep and a mile long between Milleville Canyon and Providence Canyon. Massively fun going down it; massively sucking going up it.

Easy trail, not a very interesting view.

I found the uphill/downhill really fun! It's a wavy trail and the rocks are few and far between for the most part. I'm almost surprised I enjoyed it so much because of how few trees their are on the trail. 1.5 thumbs up!

First timer here. Wanted to find a quick-access trail that I could get some cardio in. This was a nice and easy trail that has a few inclines but nothing too difficult. Views of the valley were awesome. Would be good for kids. I didn't do the out and back because I walked it, just did one way which took about an hour.

Easy gravel path. Great for walks with company, dogs, or running. It's a stretch to call this trail 7 miles though--more like 4 out and back between green canyon and Logan canyon.

It can be hiked and biked, but really isn't great for biking. Lots of steep climbs and loose gravel. Beginners will struggle and experienced riders will be bored.

This is a two track trail that does provide a nice view of the valley. But is only worth riding as a connector to Providence Canyon. This trail is exposed and really hilly, with some punchy climbs. Depending on the use and time of year this trail can get heavily overgrown.
