If your car can handle it you can shave a few miles off this hike by driving to the next trailhead. Otherwise, park where the trail starts on the map and hike in.

Great hike for the whole family. Uphill to a beautiful lake, and wonderful fall colors. The road to the trailhead is a little rough, but did not require 4WD. Definitely worth it.

Excellent hike. The fall colors were spectacular. We were able to drive a CR-V to the blind lake trailhead. Road was a little rough but worth it. It is so cool to drive up from surrounding desert into alpine terrain with numerous lakes. Great backdrop for a backpacking trip in future.

Be sure to bring lots of bug spray in early summer months. Beautiful view of the lake at the end!
