Moderate to easy hiking trail that is heavily used as a mountain bike trail and is 100% single track for bikes. Terrain includes evergreen and aspen forests, grassy meadows and incredible views from a few spots. Lower elevations on Bennie Creek cut-off section was severely burned in 2018 Bald Mountain fire. Upper portions of Blackhawk trail had pockets of burn, but mostly survived without significant damage right along the trail.
