This is Forest Service Trail #102 - Blackhawk Campground Loop Trail. About 3/4 of the trail area was severely burned in the Sept 2018 Pole Creek fire. There is still beauty in the burned area though. From the east side of the trail loop there are pretty views down into the Indianola valley and of the south side of Mt Loafer. The southern most portion of the trail cuts through the Blackhawk Campground with restrooms and water spigots available during the summer camping season. One small spring was flowing into late Sept 2019 located on the east section of the loop, about half way between the campground and Trail 084 cutoff.
