This trail was easy to get to in a truck, had beautiful desert flowers blooming, and gorgeous pictographs. It was easy to hike, but we didn’t do the whole thing. I highly recommend. We were there in the spring.

Keep to the left driving in to the trail. Drove until we felt uncomfortable with a minivan, saw a Subaru drive the trail. Nice hike, most sun but offers some shaded areas. Good petroglyph viewing.

Great drive - easy in the beginning - much tougher as you go - 4wd high clearance - only after 2.0 mile mark. We drove the trail east to west ( 2.2 miles west of SR 24 off I-70 north side to Jackass Benches, Sinkhole Flat, ext 129 on I-70) Very hot, dry, but very beautiful views!
