The Bennie Creek Trail is a delightful hike through open meadows, conifers, and aspen stands. The trail parallels Bennie Creek, a year-round flow with many pools to tempt the angler. Keep your eye open for beaver dams not far from the trailhead, where fish seem to lurk. This is a very popular biking trail.

We took the second access to the trail. The dirt road to the forest area is really rough, but we made it in our sedan. It is a beautiful area.

Great trail, super beautiful. A river flows down the entire side of the trail, there is a part where a tree has been uprooted so where the trail was and you need to cross the stream to get to the other side. We only saw four cows while up there but with all the dung I don't doubt that there is more. The fall colors are amazing here and the sky is very clear. only downside I would say is the road to get there is very VERY narrow and can only fit one car at a time.

Hiked only about a mile of this trail from the Loafer Mountain Trail junction. Nice trail but there were a lot of cows in the area
