About a 4 mile round trip trail from either side of the Dirty Devil River down to the river and back. Can go point to point from the west to the east trailhead or the reverse. A moderate hike across mostly rock with great views of the Dirty Devil River. Trail is marked by rock cairns. There is water from springs near the river most of the time. Bring a filter.

Hiked from the west side trailhead with my daughter and a friend and his dog. It was chilly and raining. Views were great of the canyons and the snow covered Henry Mountains . The river was dirty as is usual and cold. There was running water from a spring near the mouth of Beaver Canyon, which we filtered. Several good camping spots if you are kayaking or rafting from Hanksville to Lake Powell. We had a great time!
