We did this hike in the evening and it was beautiful. A very family friendly hike. I would definitely do it again!

I would say this hike is more on the easy side instead of intermediate. Beautiful wild flowers. We went in the evening and there was some good shade

Level trails that follows where an old aqueduct/canal was built. The trail is flat and easy. There are several side trails and it also connects with the Alpenbock Loop trail at the half point and the western end

easy to moderate trail that follows the path of an old pipeline that no longer exists. In the winter views of the canyon are less obstructed.
