Snow is well groomed. Doable with grippy boots but snowshoes would help

Beautiful trail. Pretty busy and people weren’t wearing masks but a great walk overall

HikingGreat!

I did this as the first part of a hike that took me up to Sugarloaf Peak. Mellow but does have some uphill. Enjoyed the gentle walk on the way down. Not much shade which was fine on this cool day, but probably hot in summer.

Awesome! First time to Uinta and it definitely didn't disappoint. Trail is mostly easy but has some moderate uphill to the lake. No flowers in September but otherwise very beautiful!

Nature trips

We loved this hike! The wildflowers were gorgeous and it’s a long enough trail that even if there’s other people there it still doesn’t seem too crowded. We did the meadows and went up towards Cecret lake. That second half of the hike definitely has more of an incline, but not unmanageable

One word: wildflowers. The trail takes you through a beautiful meadow of flowers (so, best in the spring). A short hike but because of the incline, I would rate it between easy and moderate. No shade and a little buggy. 5/5!

the wildflowers are so gorgeous right now! we arrived here at 7am on a sunday and there werent too many people, it was a bit chilly early in the morning so i would bring a hoodie. i'm not too fit and this trail is mostly on an incline so it wasn't too easy for me! but the flowers were well worth it.

The flowers are AMAZING! The trail differs a bit from what is shown on All Trails. They have changed part of the trail so watch for that. Hopefully All Trails updates soon.

I did this trail with my six year old niece and we had the best time. Her favorite part was climbing on the rocks. We only went about .75 up but it was worth it.

I have never been able to find this trail, likely due to the fee booth installed a few years back. Currently there is construction in a resort where the map indicates is the correct direction. Does anyone have specific directions to get to the trailhead?
