Road bikingGreat!

Great biking on pavement. Wide paths for bikes and runners. Connects to other paths so you can go for miles.

Nice little pocket of nature within the city of Plano. Paved paths for biking mixed with wooded trails. Beautiful morning and not the least bit crowded. No bugs. Very pretty. Made even nicer with great company. :)

Easy trail and very shaded! Can get a little confusing with intersecting trails so keep your maps open or app on record.

Trail around the lake is under construction. The majority of it is open. The very tip has a section blocked out causing a horseshoe shaped path to follow. The majority of the parts I was on have very little shade so make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen. Wide path so less awkward passing experiences. Pavement is in great condition and great for new runners.

While it was a fun hike, none of the trail labeling is consistent with the name of this hike. If you didn’t follow the map, you would have no idea where this hike even was. Part of the trail was also closed for construction.

Nice trail, especially the shade in the woods. Unfortunately, quite a bit was really muddy o

I really enjoyed this trail. It is the quietest place in the city of Plano that i have found so far trail wise. There were a lot of different birds flying around and chirping. I like that the trail runs close by Rowlett creek. I forgot for a while that i was in the city, and my heart felt at peace.

A pretty decent experience but it's more part park and part trail. The areas around the lake are wide paved path with lots of people, runners and bikers. Heading into the many entrances to the hiking part reveals a more secluded and hiking like experience but too close to civilization (e.g., by E Spring Creek you run into an outdoor concert space) to get that outdoor experience. Well maintained and good place for families with kids. The deeply carved windy river is pretty and even the rustling of the water.

I loved this trail once I figured out you needed to avoid the entire Go Ape section. The trails look like they’ll lead somewhere, but really don’t. Once you get off that trail, the paths in the woods are great. Definitely not flat in some sections, which is nice. I like the addition of he boardwalk in some parts too. It’s a good mix of concrete and dirt paths, but the dirt paths are where it’s at.

There’s a new cement trail and bridge, roughly along the Bobcat Run and ElmMotte. The bridge is near the parking lot. So it’s easier to do part of the loop. Google maps satellite view shows the new trail and bridge. There are two steep dips on the Rowlett Creek Trail near the bridge. They can be dangerous when wet, or anytime for old men like me. These are near but not part of the marked route.

Great mix of concrete trails & dirt paths to explore. My wife, our dog, & I have been slowly exploring all the trails on the weekends & can safely say that even after 3 trips out there, we still have more to explore! Highly recommend it!

This was a great open train to ride, not to heavily trafficked and clean. Connects to many other trails and a good easy trail

good trails for taking your dogs. Bobcat run is a very pretty wooden pathway. Dirt trails are a bit overgrown in some areas.

Dog friendly, great for being in the middle of the city. A pond you can kayak on and a creek off the dirt trails. It gets busy on the weekends when the weather is nice. Great nature center building with bathrooms etc.
