Great easy neighborhood trail. It feels like you can step out of the city for just a moment. Great for easy strolls in the woods.

Short little trail inside the loop with lots of smaller trail off-shoots throughout. you can walk the perimeter a couple of times and then cut through to get a bit of change. It's completely shaded. Wear bug spray. Also, it easily links to the Bayou trails via sidewalks

It's a quick 10 minute walk. It's a quick walk around. Peaceful, quiet but with a few car sounds here and there. If you're in the mood for a small hike, or to just walk your dog, or to take a quick ride in your bike, this is the place for you. It's in the middle of a quiet and nice neighborhood. You can park on the street and walk into an entrance to the trail.

Great easy trail in the city. Lots of birds and other wildlife. In our years using this trail we have see coyote, squirrel, snakes, great horned owl, screech owl, woodpeckers, raccoon, opossum...look for dew berries in the spring.
