Watters Creek Trail is a 7.2 mile out and back trail located near Allen, Texas that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
From just south of Bethany Dr to Spirit Park in the north at Ridgeview Dr, this trail has much to offer. Enjoy! Accessibility: This cement and wooden bridge trail is estimated to typically be at least 6 feet wide. The slope is steep in some sections and estimated to range from -11% (downhill) to 11% (uphill) grade. The steepest sections above 8% grade downhill are located at about 0.0, 0.7, and 2.2 miles when going north. These areas are marked with waypoints as trail goers using mobility equipment may need assistance to navigate them. There are 5 ADA-compliant car parking spots with 3 access aisles at the large paved trailhead lot. There are at least 8 ADA-compliant car parking spots on the north end of the trail in Spirit Park.
