Good little cardio hike. You will have to park further out if you are not camping. Make sure to bring a decent camera to photograph the Falls. You cannot get closer than the overlook.
Weather was perfect, trail was great. Can't wait until they open the lower trail.
Great little park! Clean, friendly staff, and many different trails to explore. Went from beachy to woodsy.
First hike I did with my infant in a carrier and it was tons of fun. Super easy hike and you can spend forever exploring the river!
It may be a short trail but you can spend several hours hiking over the rocks. Don't be intimidated by the rocks, most of this is the equivalent of stairs. Kids will have a lot of fun with this. Really beautiful.

Short hike to the scenic outlook of the Falls. It was a good starting point and there are plenty of people around so it does not feel so isolated.
My daughter's favorite hike (due to the waterfalls). Trails well maintained. Overlook has sweeping views of the riverbed and falls. Easy to hike to the falls/rapids. Exercise caution during periods of rain as water levels can rise quickly. Great photo opportunities.
Short trek down to the falls at Pedernales. Great fun climbing over rocks and so peaceful to listen to the water. You won't be alone, though. Lots of other visitors. Great to see once, at least.
awesome visit all levels but mostly moderate some of the most beautiful scenery. Lots of Stairs to get to the water level areas. Heavy traffic area always other hikers around. Definitely a must see. Many trails but the falls was my favorite to explore around.
