Really short loop but nice to see some elevation changes, a little scrambly in parts along the limestone outcrops. The twin falls were smaller than I anticipated - maybe they’re bigger if it rains more...

Short loop. Most pictures of the waterfall are off trail/closed off below the overlook.

HikingGreat!

Short hike but so worth it. You have to park about 1/4 mile and walk to the trailhead which is between campsites 19 and 20. While on the trail, follow the blue and silver signs. There are rock steps that lead you to the platform where you can view the beautiful fall/pool.

Great short hike. Shade in many areas. Lookout to the falls is distant. Interesting geologic land formations.

Easy trail with a little rocky terrain. Small but pretty waterfall. Habitat immediately next to the falls was closed, but you could view the falls from an overlook.

Waterfalls were underwhelming. Short rocky trail.

This loop trail is rocky in parts but leads to a couple of nice views of the river valley and then an overlook deck for a small waterfall. There are some nice rock formations along the way. The map on this app is outdated as a portion of the trail on the app is no longer in use and will lead you through a campsite if you follow it. Just stay on the clearly worn trail and you’ll be fine.

Most of the pictures attached to this hike are of the falls at the north end of the park. The twin falls is a trickle of water and not a waterfall. There’s an overlook, and you aren’t supposed to walk down to the twin falls. I didn’t think this hike was worth it even with it being a super short hike. Go to the main falls!

Good little cardio hike. You will have to park further out if you are not camping. Make sure to bring a decent camera to photograph the Falls. You cannot get closer than the overlook.

Great little park! Clean, friendly staff, and many different trails to explore. Went from beachy to woodsy.

First hike I did with my infant in a carrier and it was tons of fun. Super easy hike and you can spend forever exploring the river!

It may be a short trail but you can spend several hours hiking over the rocks. Don't be intimidated by the rocks, most of this is the equivalent of stairs. Kids will have a lot of fun with this. Really beautiful.

Short hike to the scenic outlook of the Falls. It was a good starting point and there are plenty of people around so it does not feel so isolated.

My daughter's favorite hike (due to the waterfalls). Trails well maintained. Overlook has sweeping views of the riverbed and falls. Easy to hike to the falls/rapids. Exercise caution during periods of rain as water levels can rise quickly. Great photo opportunities.

Short trek down to the falls at Pedernales. Great fun climbing over rocks and so peaceful to listen to the water. You won't be alone, though. Lots of other visitors. Great to see once, at least.

awesome visit all levels but mostly moderate some of the most beautiful scenery. Lots of Stairs to get to the water level areas. Heavy traffic area always other hikers around. Definitely a must see. Many trails but the falls was my favorite to explore around.
