Trail D - Canyon Loop Trail, Trail B - Haynes Ridge Overlook and Trail A - Upper Canyon Trail is a 5.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Quitaque, Texas that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until September.
December 22, 2020Beautiful hike. The climb up the ridge is challenging, but the view from the top is worth it. Encountered several bison on the trail.

September 27, 2020Incredible landscapes, but went the first week of August and the 105 degree was brutal. Need to go again in the winter!

September 12, 2020July 5, 2020This was fantastic. Make sure you start south prong since the steep part will be upward instead of downward! Also, high socks or long pants are definitely beneficial to protect you from all the cactus and spike bushes. Overall incredible view, nice path and pure peace up there. I would highly recommend this path. Just make sure to bring plenty of water!!!
