Lots and lots of overgrowth on sections. I recommend long pants if you are at all bothered by bugs. Bug spray also recommended. Tons and tons of horse poop all over the trail. Honestly this trail is not worth going on aside from the fact that there are so few around here. Long road walking section is boring and a bit dangerous. The directions on Google Maps take you to what looks like a small gravel parking lot but that is private property. Skip this one.

It's a great trail full of bends and scenic view, smooth with very light ware. The biggest catch to this trail is the HORSE FLIES. They wait for horses on the trail and do not leave you alone the whole run.

This is a very easy trail and no need for long pants. It's flat dirt trail and plenty of shade. Bikers are not aloud. There is some horse riders but very light. When you park at the Highland Park Trail Head, make sure to take the trail to the north side. It will take about a little over 2 hours to complete
