St. Edwards Green and Red Loop is a 2.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Austin, Texas that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

great trail and hike but tough with all the trees down from the storm.
My go-to spot. I come at least once a week to hike or trail run. I try to explore new trails and paths every time. Always quiet and peaceful. Warmer weather will bring more people but it's never too packed and there is plenty of room along the bluffs and banks for all of us. Enjoy!
Very dog friendly. Bring water proof shoes. Fairly easy except for one steep part so plan accordingly. Signs throughout but not very clear. Overall would recommend
NOT DOG FRIENDLY. We couldn’t finish the trail because we brought our dogs, and the grand finale of the hike did not allow pets. But it was otherwise a nice trail with a stream you had to cross and a little bit of a hill.
Our experience at this trail was ZERO stars. Our mini van and at least one other car got broken into. I saw broken glass all over from what looks to be a continuous problem of SMASH AND GRAB in the parking lot. Such a disappointment!!! I give the river trail itself only a 3 since it parallels the road and the idyllic beauty is marred by traffic noise.
Afternoon stroll on a Sunday. The parking lot was full, several cars were parked on the road side. Several loop trails, with the Red route along the River being the most scenic. However the trail north is very close to the roadway. Unfortunately there were several smash and grabs.
Cool little trail network near Austin. Lots of water and a few decent views, too.
Very flat trails with a lot of zig-zagging. I would recommend taking a picture of the trail map before you start, there's a lot of trail markings but it's still easy to get a little confused. No restroom facilities, but there is a tiny little "workout playground" of sorts right off the second trail head, off the yellow trail.
Lots of great trails for all levels, it’s a bit of a spider web starting from St. Edwards park but if you follow the blue trail markers you’ll make your way to the top and be able to connect with the bull creek trail. Skill level is easy to moderate, there are some areas with steep drop offs so if you’re not experienced be sure to just take it slow and you’ll be fine.
Good trail! Love being close to the creek. However apparently at about 3 pm (today is a 11/13) someone broke into a bunch of the cars in the parking lot and stole things that were hidden away under seats and stuff, breaking their windows along the way. So definitely be careful about what you leave in your car!
