WalkingGreat!

I took my four legged companion on a much needed hike. The trails were awesome. When I went, the trails were open, and they were very clearly marked with blue spray paint and signs. It’s very comparable to the trails at Huntsville State Park. There’s parking off of Pruitt road next to the baseball fields, but no accessible restrooms. My dog loved it and so did I.

Road bikingGreat!

Absolutely incredible! Arguably best trail in Houston metro area. Great for walking, but even better for road biking. Parts of it were under construction a couple months ago, but it was still a great time. Feels like you've left the city

Only had time to ride 6 miles in. I thought it was great. Other than quite a bit of soft dirt and tree roots, I’d say it was very easy. Definitely worth the visit and I will be back to ride the whole thing.

HikingBridge out

Awesome trail. The bridge is closed with a metal gate on both sides, but you can easily cross the river. The trail is very quiet after that for the first 7 or so miles. Blue blazes are well marked on the trail up until you enter the neighborhood and then they were a little sparse. stopped along the creek for lunch and decided to turn it into an out and back trail. Bugs were not bad, just a few horse flies, and for the most part the trail is covered in shade. Could probably be muddy after a good rain but today had excellent trail conditions. Some portions of AllTrails were mislabeled for the actual trail but just use your eyes and follow the rectangles, they will lead you right. Will be back!

Trails are not well marked and only the main path is mapped in this app and that leads to a closed bridge ending the trail for all intents and purposes after approximately 1 mile. . Also too many mosquitoes. If you walk or ride this trail, take lists of mosquito repellent!

Great trail. Had no idea it was out here! Quiet. And the “beach” area was a nice surprise.

First time to hike this trail. Really enjoyed it. It’s a little muddy with all the rain but that’s not a problem. It starts open and wide and then it does get thick and shady and looks like you’re in a forest. Will definitely keep using walking/hiking this trail.
