Really interesting trail that follows along the Brazos River. There are two options, a paved, non-scenic trail and then a scenic, beaten path trail along the river. The paved and beaten paths meet up at the end, making a loop if you like. Lots of activity here all days of the week. This trail is part of MacLean Park, where there are basketball, tennis, baseball, etc. courts. There is plenty to do here.
The very slight change in elevation along the nature trail was a nice change to other completely flat paths around. Many many birds out this morning and only saw 1 other person on the trail. I am usually not a fan of in-out paths but this one was well marked and there were many things to look at along the way. Did not feel like you were walking in a city park. Will definitely return.
Excellent trail with options for paved and beaten paths. Nice views and many visitors.
