For a quick hike in the middle of the metroplex, it’s not bad. It is, however, remarkably noisy with freeway traffic (to be expected given the location) so if you’re looking for a quiet hike, this isn’t it. Trails were well marked and maintained.

Nature tripsGreat!

I used to volunteer out there a lot. I love it there. The wildlife is nice and the boardwalk is so cool. Enjoy it there and love to look for insects and plants out there. I think it is one of the most enchanting local trails we have. great place to take a stroll and to explore. be sure to checkout the Bluff area that place is the best.

Great little urban getaway trail! It was pretty easy, but still a good workout. We enjoyed seeing the lake and watching several people fishing.

Hiking trail. Not paved. Sunny and shady. Lots of little trails branching off the main. Good place to explore. Fishing pond. Watch out for poison ivy in some places.

Hiking

Great trail for a quick hike. Easy access, nice parking, trail was well maintained. However, lots of neighbor hood families fishing, picnicking, etc which made it a bit crowded. If you’re looking for a true outdoor experience, seek other options. Ps. A couple of local hippies enforcing made up rules. But that can be overlooked.
