Great hike! The kids brought bikes and enjoyed the small hills and all the bridges.

Good trail with lots of leaf coverage. Bug spray is a good idea. Grab a stick to save on front if you go knock down spider webs.

Heavily wooded, shady 2.5 mile loop trail. Bug spray needed in the one marshy area, but overall mosquitoes not bad even in late August. One short pathway arra between wooden bridges needed mowing the day I backpacked. One has to go a little off trail to see the lake. Overall a scenic area that I would be happy to hike again. Park staff was very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful trail, it was lightly raining but the tree canopy keep us dry!

Easy trail with small kids. The last bit of the trail is roadside. Lots of bugs at the end of March. Ok trail.

Great views of the swamp. Bugs weren’t bad in mid-February, but I could definitely see them being really bad when it warms up. A little disappointing that the trail is not a true loop and the last third of a mile or so is on the park road - but the hike was definitely worth it.

I give this a high mark for cleanliness and just overall beauty. No challenge here, just a pretty walk and some great flora and fauna. The park in general is very peaceful and just an awesome place.

One of our favorite places to go that is close to home. Beautiful lake views. Nice wide trails. Kid friendly and dog on leash. Park is always clean and quiet when we go

Great for a nature hike with kids. Lots of interesting things for them to see, and plenty of benches throughout for the occasional break along the way. Great park for camping as well. Our family will be back.

Easy trail, this trail is good for families with small children as it is not very long but has a lot to see. Marshes, majestic trees, bugs, wild life, and a lake to sit by and catch a few minutes of relaxation. I was the only one on the trails so no crowds. I did hear road noise for a while from the highway, but as I moved further in, that became less noticeable.
