Schanen Hike and Bike Trail is a 2.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Corpus Christi, Texas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Parking available at Breckenridge or Snead Parks. Paved urban runner or bike trail. No shade, fairly straight and flat trail with a few road crossings. Accessibility: The trail is estimated to range from 8-11 feet wide and 0-2% grade (flat to gentle slope). It's surface switches between firmly packed gravel, concrete, and asphalt at road crossings.
