Very nice quick and easy walk with my son and wife. There are many trails in the park, I am rating the roadrunner trail about 3 miles long.
Very odd but interesting place. Poorly marked trails with many side trails to get lost on...but we knew that going in because the ranger warned us upon entry, we had no issues. So many opportunities to see wildlife here despite never really getting far from the noise of nearby roads. In this park we saw javelina, deer, many birds, and jackrabitts (no bobcat but we heard about several sightings). Very friendly and helpful staff/park hosts. Doesn't seem to be popular, we mostly had the whole park to ourselves. Looks like a great place for mountain bikes.
Really cool trails. Would give it 5 stars, but the markings on the trails aren't that great. We got turned around several times, especially when the trails split and they aren't properly marked. Other than that, it was relaxing to be in nature and we went a long time before we ran into another person.
Great Mtn biking especially for the area. Up to 30 miles of single tracks.
