It was flooded but if I’m ever back in the area I’d give it another try.

I didn’t like it

Ran trail 12 Aug 2018. Paved trail until Huebner overpass. At that point it becomes an unimproved road of crushed gravel/dirt under construction with chain link fencing on both sides that is intermittently open. It is very traverseable and a few mountain bikers passed me. No overhead cover along the construction route. There were some existing single track dirt paths that I took out northbound instead of the road.

Past 1604 the trail becomes sketchy. I crossed another runner and he said I could follow a single track trail right or the power lines north. I followed the power lines and the trail was decent until the last section before the turn around point. If you stick to the power lines you'll be good.

This was a great trail but got hard to navigate midway through. The first several miles were paved, then going under the overpass, the path was lost and difficult to navigate. In addition to no clearly marked trail, there was a lot of debris removal involving tractors and lumber moving trucks which made us need to deviate from the trail. Then, laid out path from the app was blocked by equipment, so we needed to walk in the irrigation tunnel or go half a mile out of the way to cross the overpass. We decided to go through the irrigation tunnel because today was a sunny day without a cloud in the sky to worry about flash floods. Maybe if I try again in a couple of months, the construction equipment along the Greenbelt will be gone and the trail will be clear.

Had a lot of fun on this trail the off road trail is not marked but it intersects with the hard trail a lot so it's not hard to find! It's pretty technical lots of ups and downs a lot of rocks and roots lots of wildlife just feet away!

Fun ride but not sure I'd go back considering my other options. No marked off-road trails. My if the trail was over grown. No major elevation changes and lots of rocks. I don't see how you can ride this on a hard tail and have a good time.

This trail is an excellent "quick fix" if you want to stay in town. Great scenery, mostly all shaded, and a great distance. They only downside is, water fountains are few and far between. So just be sure to top off the camelbak before heading out.

Really nice network of trails. There are wide well paved trails that are crossed by many unpaved trails that lead thru the dry creek beds and wooded areas. Primarily shady and not too much elevation, good for hikers, joggers, bikers and dog walkers. You can be as tame or adventerous as you want based on the trail you take.

Keep in mind this area is part of a flood plain and the creek beds are not always dry. If you are hiking the creekbeds, wear appropriate footgear.

Downside - for an area you can spend a day exploring... the facilities are pretty much limited to the parking area, so go before you hit the trail.

Great trail for biking, but a little confusing since 95% of the trail is unmarked. Actually went on the trail in a friends Jeep at first simply getting off of the 1604 east service road and under the overpass without even realizing this trail was on the other side. Jeeping trails work well for biking as well and there are many vertical cliff sides along the trail that you can sop and climb. Many of them have obviously been used before as the presence of bolt anchors along the wall is clear and many. The trail itself was fun with many challenging parts for beginning bikers followed by long rock, dirt, or mulch straights. A great trail all in all with much greenery and just enough challenge. River was dried up completely, but that's no ones fault but good old Texas heat. Even still would have been nice to see it or even get in to cool off. I would recommend this trail to anyone looking for a Jeep or biking trail.

Nice variation of single track (creek bed, rocky portions, and hard packed dirt). If you take the paved trail to the end (looking at huebner rd overpass) the main single portion is to your north. Most trails are well marked so it's relatively easy to find your way.

Definitely worth checking out for a quick ride.

Staying off the road and on the single track for the duration of the Greenway is the way to do it if you want to enjoy the mountain biking aspect of it. The trail far exceeds Huebner Road and even goes as far as 1604. I'll ride this trail many times more in the future because I can ride to it from my place which makes it that much more convenient. Road trails for the beginner and moderate single track for the moderate rider. There are even trails that linger off the main single track that stretches the length of the Greenway. Maybe next time I'll venture off onto some of these trails and report on the outcome and snap some more pics! Happy Trails!

The trail offers both paved and single track. Both trails go the length of the trail. Only complaint about this trail is it's too short. If this were a 4-5 mile loop it would be and excellent trail. If you live in the area it's worth checking out but if you have to drive any further than 10 miles to get to it I would pass. Great trail for the local neighborhood riders!

Great mountain bike trails for the recreational rider. Easy trails East of the creek bed, slightly less easy trails West of the creek bed. Trails are in great condition!

Nice easy hike or bike ride. There is a paved trail for bikes or pedestrians. In the creek bed is a natural trail.
