There is no trail to this location. You first need to drive east on the River Road West for about 2.4 miles until you visually find the ruins to the north (left) of the river road. Then, park and hike cross- country to the ruins. I've found that it is best to find the wash that goes to the ranch location, and follow it past the spring and the ranch to avoid the brush. Just about everything that grow in Big Bend has a thorn on it. I stirred out 2 javelina trying to get thru the brush just south of the ranch house.
