dogs on leash
The trail was not too bad. I parked at a church off of Old Hwy 80 because I did not immediately spot the park access road. That's ok because the Spur trail led me to the main trails. The hike was not too bad. Watch out for those pesky thorns!
Good trail for walking. Really rocky and tough for biking. When its freshly mown its beautiful but with all the rain it grows up fast. definitely a good beginners trail.
Too many dogs NOT on a leash.
Very nice trail. Good place to start training for trail running. Very quiet.
A compact fun size trail. It's about 2 miles, it has some fun/ technical bits. I like it as I am a beginner and this is a good entry level. You can stay on easy track Tex Trail Or go up a level to the panhandle or ridge loop. It's easier than Purgatory Creek. San Marcos is good at marking its trails. Since it is so small you will have do the loops a few times.
My favorite trail in SM by far...low on traffic and tons of beautiful flowers
It's an ok trail system in the neighborhood with some technical sections but it is short. It's good for practice.
