This was a nice little hike for someone looking to get back into shape and enjoy nature. My boyfriend and our husky enjoyed it. Finding the actual entrance in was a challenge but I enjoyed seeing the different birds and cactus.
Once you get going rocks make a path so you know you’re going on the right direction, which I thought was clever.

One of the few places within the city where you can get away and experience real nature easily. Quick and easy out-and-back 2-mile trail. 40 mins at a quick pace and 1 hour at a leisurely stroll. 0.75 miles in the trail "ends" officially but you can keep going until you get to the Resler Dr drainage tunnel. Halfway down the trail you can't even tell you're in between I-10, Resler and Mesa. Can get hot in the middle of the day.
