We really enjoyed this trail. It is very rocky and hard to follow at times but overall a really nice trek. Our 8 and 10-year-old loved it.

love the rocks on this trail, you can spice up your hike with a little rock climbing. it is over grown is some spots, especially at the end of trail. makes it difficult to know exactly where the trail is.

Beautiful trail along the lake. The climbing area at the end was spectacular. Wish we were experienced climbers/repellers.

This trail is located in a state park. We did this trail last weekend after there was a downpour the previous day. We wanted to do the black trail & trails towards the rear of the park, but they were closed at the time. It’s a short hike, some over growth, but it was cool. The kids enjoyed it. It can be really rocky at times & there are stairs to climb. Overall, we liked it & would do it again. The overlook at the beginning is nice too. There is a fee to get it & you may need to reserve your tickets ahead of time during Covid. We like the park overall & the different hiking options. We got a pass to the state parks for $70 for the year. If your planning on visiting a bunch of the parks I think it’s your best option.

End of trail is overgrown. Could not finish. Would have been fantastic if not overgrown.

Short, but fun hike all the same. I’ll definitely come back to rock climb when it’s allowed. Wanted to scope it out and take the dog out for a bit.

This trail was well worth the $7/per person. It was not too busy for a Saturday morning since they are limiting the number of entries into the park. The path is rocky. The only downside was the trail is very narrow at parts. We had our two dogs with us and it was almost impossible to move to the side to let other people through. Overall, I would go back. It was short but fun.

Not very many views except at the overlook, which isn’t technically part of this route. Mostly used to get down near the water. The number of bugs on this trail was enormous. Spider webs crossing the trail everywhere, and it was quite muddy. Lots of accidental trailblazing has made the trail hard to follow at spots.

Great hike with boulders for scrambling, and top roping or rappelling at the “hollow” at the end of the trail.

I love this trail! Second time we’ve done it. Once in the spring and now in the fall. It has rough areas and is a moderate trail. Takes you right next the the lake to the rock faces Stop and watch repellers. Camping tonight and hitting other trails tomorrow.

It’s a great trail...a little rocky in some places if bringing animals. Nice tree coverage through most of the trail and nice views!

Well maintained, but rocky with some actual inclines for hiking that follows the water. The trail provides great shade. Great views and worth the drive. $7/adult entry fee

This trail has some steep initial climbing but offers amazing views of the area. Excellent for kids who enjoy exploring, if you arent climbing there will likely be people climbing to watch.
