Go to trail if it has lightly rained the night before since it is a cement path. (No mud)

Easy with spattering of shade. We didn’t start until 11am. Would have been a cinch without the heat. But 81 degrees is actually tolerable

Not much of a “hiking” trail, more of a leisurely walk. It was super busy on the weekend which made it difficult to enjoy the scenery because your always watching to make sure your not running into someone. It would be painful to ride your bike here on weekends because of all the foot traffic and kids running around. It was a really nice walk though, great for those who don’t want any rough terrain. There is also a park at the start and mid-way which would be a great place to stop if you had kiddos.

An easily accessible paved trail of ~4.5 mi out & back if you go to the end in both directions. Not the most scenic, I wouldn't put it as a must for out-of-towners (go to Brazos Bend) but for locals who need a go-to running path, here it is!

First to Review

This is a large flat area in between houses in a nice part of town. It's got a Creek running through which makes for some interesting wild life from time to time and we got some juicy mulberries in the spring. But it's usually pretty crowded. So for those of you looking for great views or more interesting landscape its boring.
