Great Austin hiking trail!!! Winding paths through a quiet forest and plenty of offshoots

Hit this trail again, hiking this time. It was really, really muddy at the bottom by the creek, but the rest was solid. There are just enough major forks in this trail system to give you a sense of exploration and adventure, but nothing so bad that you'll get lost, because every major fork leads you back to the neighborhood.

No water fountains, rest rooms, doggy-bag stations, etc. (Wait- one doggy bag station that i saw, at the Boulder Ln trail head, hidden by all the decorative bushes) I think there's one bench near the beginning of the trail, and that's it. But don't let this deter you, it's a fun trail, and hey, it's like, 99% shaded.

I took my 9 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. Fewer people farther in and some variation in terrain. At the cross over before the last loop there is a spectacular oak tree.

Very cool trail, surprisingly secluded fourth location between neighborhoods. There are some very cool spots to stop and drink some water. just the right amount of difficulty

I enjoyed it! It’s easily accessible to where I live. Moderately difficult terrain. Mostly flat. Overall a Great run!

This is a great little trail close to town. It has several great features including a mix of dirt and rocky terrain, secluded shady trails. there are a lot of shoot offs which I found confusing but overall it's a fun run. Very quiet and peaceful~

Entrance is at the back of the playground area. The first part of the trail is paved then turns to lots of rocks and dirt. There are plenty of trash cans. Dogs enjoyed themselves.

This is the same trail as Trailhead park except that one takes a slight left at one point and able to "loop" around making it a 6 mile trail. I enjoyed it, very clise to whete I live. Went after rains and water was running. I rate is in the moderate range. This trail will be wonderful in the spring with all the wildflowers. Even though it is in a neighborhood, it is lightly travelled.
