Makes for a great quick hike. The view is hard to beat in Austin since it’s the highest point in the city.

Not quite a hike, more like a staircase. Great view of the city, the river, and the surrounding area.

The hike is just couple of stairs to the top. Quick trail about 20min. Beautiful view in Austin but mainly visited by tourists so gets crowded.

Nice weather to go on a hike! Lots of people here enjoying the day. Brought our dachshund along and he seemed to enjoy the hike as well except maybe the stairs haha.

it's a quick way to get above it all. :) perfect place to take a quick break and get a nice view of downtown skyline and the Colorado. there's picnic tables and plenty of places to perch and soak it in for a bit

Nice view and small loop. TAKE ALL YOUR VALUABLES OUT OF THE CAR. I was just 35 minutes and came back to a smashed window and everything of value stolen.

Went near sunset so it was a little crowded but worth the walk up the stairs for the view of the river and the sunset.

Short & quick walk up to a beautiful view of the Colorado River. We took a few of the trails in the woods leading around the area as well to add extra mileage and time. Once at the top, we followed a cardinal dancing from tree to tree but i couldn't get a great pic of him.

It looks like the view of the skyline was better years ago when the trees weren’t as tall. Don’t follow any of the trail offshoots, because it will be a lot of work for no better of a view. There are also a lot of broken bottles on the other trails off of the main one.
