McGimsey Scout Trail is a 4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near San Antonio, Texas that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking.

Hiking

Loved the hike, definitely nothing marked, most primitive trail has been washed out with heavy rains. If you like exploring and blazing your own trail, then this is a good one. Saw lots of deer, two 4 or 5 point bucks, turkey vultures having a meal.

aVO ID this trail fo hiking 1 no good place to park 2. the trail is hard to follow. not. true trail. trail is rough. FINALLY THE OUT LINE ON THIS MAP DOES NOT FOLLOW THE TRAIL ON WHICH OE WALKS CANNOT FOLLOW THE TRAIL GUIDE ON THIS MAP. THE ONLY POSITIVE THING ARE THE BEAUTIFUL OAKS ALONG THE CREEK. A BUMMER!!!
