I wasn't aware that it was a holiday today. But upon running (no pun intended) into a lot of people along the way on the trail, including a family from my church, I soon figured out something was going on. It was a good run.

As usual, got a good workout and discovered new trails, new ways to run around and have fun. These Bull Creek trails, along with the Valburn trails, make for almost endless exploration and varying terrain.

From 360, take Spicewoods Spring, then an immediate right. The road will loop and go under 360, you'll see the first parking on your left, then a second and a third, pretty close to each other. The second parking has rest rooms, the thrid is right across the road from the trail head. The trail head has two paths, make sure and take the right path, as the left is so overgrown that it dead ends before getting back to the trail.

Way cool trail. I love running out here. Rocks, trees, wide and skinny trails, creek crossings, running on the creek, steps, etc. Want to run on trails that tend to get a little, well, unkempt? These (the Bull Creek system) are your trails.

Actually, this is not a "lost" trail, but merely the Bull Creek trail. Problem is, no one ever goes on this part of the trail. I ran this part a few weeks back, and I could tell that there was a trail, but didn't seem much used. Instead of running through the wood on the more defined trails, this trail stay right along the creek and eventually meets up with the more defined Bull Creek trail.

If more people started hiking, biking, running, etc on this, it'd actually become quiet popular I'm guessing.
