Nice local swimming pond. Don't be fooled by online guides as I was - this does not connect to Greenbelt and breakthrough to Hill of Life. would definitely frequent as a swim hole if I was a local.
Not much of a hiking trail like I expected but it was a great place to swim with my kids.Very kid friendly, and easy hiking for all ages.
great trail. sometimes the paths are a little narrow, but overall great. lots of exploration.
Nice trail in the city, more or less. Started out at the bridge on Lost Creek Blvd. Took off my shoes and socks and waded into the creek. Word of caution: if your feet aren't really toughened the crossing in knee high water while stepping on stones can be painful. Keep your shoes on or get some beach shoes. After the crossing the trail is nice. Hiking along with the bluffs above and the creek close by is very nice. At the turn around point you wade across the dam to the loop that goes back to the bridge. I didn't attempt this because the water was swift going over the dam and some young men ahead of me were having a little difficulty. If you fell you might be swept over the dam. The scenery is awesome. The trail wasn't heavily trafficked and the other hikers I met were nice.
