The start point of the trail is not directly connected to the camping site/picnic area. So we have to walk along the car road. The CCC pavilion and the lake view at the goal are good rewards for finishing the trail.

All trails does not show the Kissable trail officially but is on the map if you look. Just cut through the "Birds nest" and loop back on the "official" leg of the Longhorn trail.

HikingGreat!

Easy, simple trail. Passes by the bird watching area that has a Javelina enclosure. Ends at the Old Park Pavilion, great views.

First to Review

Easy trail in Lake Corpus Christi State Park. Starts just south of the Javelina Camping Loop, and goes to the Old Pavilion built by the CCC in 1933-1934.
