Nice to explore these hidden gems - far nicer to run on trails than on busy road sidewalks Surface was good on dry sunny winters day The 1/4 mile markers are also handy for intervals

I would recommend this trail for anyone looking for a walk away from the road or busy streets. Great for running, also saw people walking and mountain biking. Mainly flat terrain with no hills, predominantly flat smooth dirt and a mix of concrete. Easy to follow, but would recommend using the app at certain points to know where not to turn to do the standard down and back.

Great trail! Except for the 10 or so who fail to clean up after their children (dogs)! Or the ones who let their pets off leash - bad human!

Great trail! But watch out for snakes! We were walking on the trail last night and right before we got to Witt road there was a HUGE snake crossing the sidewalk! Luckily we had just gotten to the paved part of the trail or else we wouldn’t of seen the snake!

The Lakefront Trail is approximately 4 miles of crushed granite which connects from Hula Hut/Hydrous to McCord Park. Enjoy the scenic views of the lake, with several access points for fishing. This trail is ideal for hikers, runners, mountain bicyclists, and anyone who enjoys seeing beautiful Little Elm!
