WalkingGreat!

Very scenic! It’s not so much a hike but it’s nice and paved for a brisk walk. Plenty of rest areas and not too busy during a week day.

WalkingMuddy

Very slippery and muddy trails after this morning’s watering. Normally clear, beautiful water is mucked up with overgrowth and some trash. Lots of construction going on, lots of cars passing through trail crossing and trails are overcrowded with people. Not normal for this time of year, but I guess COVID changed that, too. Difficult to social distance on narrow pathways.

Lots of traffic about 50% of the trail is shaded, so bring a sun UV protective hat or light weight hoodie for the summer. Very scenic!!! Breath taking ponds, clear & clean streams with some cool bridges that are closed off, but I would love to cross over into the wilderness.

Beautiful, Clean, Family Friendly, Handicap Friendly First time here today and I’m in LOVE! Went here with my Grandma, who uses a wheelchair, & it was so amazing! I didn’t use the bathrooms so I have no opinion about those. Great Parks, very family Friendly. Lots of handicapped rails & flat ground so very Handicap Friendly, some sidewalks end though so beware of that. My Grandmas wheelchair has a seatbelt so I had no problem going on the grass if the sidewalks ended, but it was a far venture anyways. Lots of beautiful bridges & lots of benches to sit on. Plenty of historical sites to learn about & just a peaceful place to be! Definitely coming back with more people!

better for jogging or biking it's all sidewalk but very scenic, lots of people take their daily walks or dogs there, and you can't forget all the squirrels and deer that you'll see
