Lanana Creek Trail is a 4.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Nacogdoches, Texas that features beautiful wild flowers. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for walking, nature trips, and birding.
A few rooted wash outs but otherwise it flows fast and smooth along the creek and is very pretty. Great trail considering it's in the middle of town. The middle section between E. Starr and E. Main is the the dirt trail. The north and south ends are paved walkways and do not offer anything for experienced riders other than a warm up or cool down area. Fun trail for kids that aren't ready to hammer out 20 miles.
Great little trail. Me and my kids go mountain biking here. I would consider it moderate in difficulty due to tree roots on the trail. It is fun nonetheless.
