This is a great trail that is paved, smooth, wide, and moderately trafficked. You can park at North Shore Park for free & walk the loop. It can easily be made longer by adding on other segments to different parks along the way. Accessibility: There is 1 designated accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Lake Woodlands Drive at Northshore Park at the north end of the trail. It is van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is concrete, smooth, and typically at least 6 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers. There are benches along the route for resting.

Very nice trail with little traffic. Unfortunately, all concrete and about half is with traffic noise. Overall, I would do this again.

Excellent cement based walk/hike. Great views and good shade for a summer hike. Can jog or power walk easily. No major road crossings. Not best for bikes

It's a nice paved, mostly shaded, trail with minimal traffic. I saw about 10 people mostly walking/jogging as I did my 2 laps. Plenty of benches and rest areas and is quite pleasant and scenic for going through neighborhoods.

Really nice loop for an urban/suburban setting. Hit early in the morning for cooler weather, fewer people and traffic. Updated alternate route to take advantage of Waterway pedestrian crossing and to better hug the east shore through posh neighborhoods with views of the lake, no traffic, and access to pretty little lakeside parks and overlooks for taking breaks.

Great paths all the way around. Clearly marked stops for intersections and traffic lights. A busy area so lots of car traffic, but again the paths are wide, clean, and off the road. Takes you by several cool areas in The Woodlands (Market Street, North Shore Park, South Shore Park, The Waterway). Great for urban biking. Good straightaways and very well shaded. You are riding alongside busy roads but it doesn’t feel that way. Very easy and light terrain. Good for a quick cruise or to branch off into other paths in The Woodlands.

I love this trail. I walk it like 3 times a week. mostly paved with beautiful views. lots of small and large birds and squirrels along the route. If you're lucky you may even get to see the family of bald eagles who nest close to north shore park.
